In order to aid the Valiore and Andrasian Queens, you've decided to seek out the trail of feathers as described by Rue. Following the breadcrumb trail, you seem to notice how the feathers on your path appear to multiply as the dark oozing liquid on them becomes more and more abundant.

Within an instant, the trail of feathers has become a sprawling black trail of thick sludge with plumes sticking out of it. You realize the area is now coated in the same tacky liquid with smaller strands branching out like a spider’s web. After what feels like an eternity, you're met at the end of the trail with the battered remains of some small castle ruins. Taking a deep breath of the icy air, you step through the dilapidated stone arch before you.

Upon entering the building you can't help but notice that despite now being sheltered from the cold, you still feel chilled to the bone. The torch you wield offers you no respite. The trail draws you onwards towards a stone staircase. Each weathered stone you pass is stained with the dark liquid and etched with claw marks that grow in desperation…

You suddenly shake yourself out of your thoughts as you realize there is a low chittering sound that is growing louder as you descend. Your mind is racing and your gut churns as you reach the door at the bottom. As you approach, your final step to the door is suddenly met with silence. 

Your heart pounds as you reach for the handle.

The old door creaks open and your blood runs cold from the sight before you. A massive figure of pulsating black ooze with hundreds of feathers and different kinds of bones jutting out starts to slowly quiver and rise. To your horror, it seems to be moving towards you…

Arriving to Adlight, you are ushered into the throne room with Rue and Wynter standing towards the back surrounded by other Woolyne and Faelidh. Many are speaking in worried whispers amongst each other about the letters, nervous about what was happening to get summoned by the winter caravan queen.

As the room finished filling up, Wynter lifted Rue to the top of her head grabbing everyone's attention. "Thank you all for coming on such short notice." Wynter projected with her voice, " Many of you have noticed the prolonged winter, even more so with it chilling you to your bones." You shuddered silently, following everyone's soft murmur of agreement. 

Rue's softer voice followed the short silence. "Originally we had assumed that we had a large group of Eitravens this year... But for it to stay this cold and this long isn't normal."  Wynter flattened her ears against her back. "We also... haven't seen any flying around. I checked the skies of Andras and there haven't been any flying about, however we did find evidence of their disappearance." 

"As Wynter scouted the skies, I followed the trail of feathers and the drops of liquid up to the mountains north of Lornesse. However, I had to return and send samples of the liquid to Asajji. We need you all to travel to Lornesse and follow the trail to the end in the mountains."

The morning light is filtered through the window frame. You stretch out and yawn as a chill runs up your spine. At first you think it is the cold weather, but the strange chill persists you as begin to go through your day. 

After a long day of errands and seeing friends you return to your home, attempting to push back the thoughts that something is amiss.  If anything it seems that the strange chill is stronger with a heavier sense of dread and anxiety.

In an attempt to wash away the feeling you create a small fire and sit close to keep warm. The feeling however only continued to grow. Suddenly you hear a firm husky voice call your name from the outside, asking you to come out to meet them. Cautiously you step out and find a letter on the ground, picking it up you see it is addressed to you. Looking up you see the Winter Caravan Queen flying away in the sky. Surprised you go back inside by the small fire to read the letter.

You are summoned to meet Wynter at the Palace in Aldlight with Queen Rue.

Exploration

The world of Andras is home to many diverse landscapes and secrets to be uncovered! Draw your character traveling the world with another character, their Mount, or both! What adventures do they have? Who do they meet on their travels? What sort of adventures do they have?

Explore the World of Andras

This is essentially an eternally open 'free prompt' where you draw your character traveling through Andras-whether they be adventuring alone in the wilderness, rubbing elbows with royalty, or perhaps eating a warm meal at an inn. The sky is the limit! (Just follow the rules)

Exploration Rules
-Must show at least 75% of the body, and be fully shaded+a full background. Must also contain at least a descriptive paragraph of what your Woolyne is doing!
-Literature entries must be 750 words (ROLEPLAY is ok!**)

**Collab Explorations such as Roleplays will ONLY be rolled for Shards to make it fair to both people in the collab! (EG: So we can avoid situations like one person rolling an elemental while the other person only rolls some shards.)

On a clear and quiet night Elkin and their riders tack up to participate in a dressage show. Wearing beautifully elaborate halters and saddles the Elkin and their riders go through a series of exercises and challenges.

The annual Winter Market has commenced! From galleries and exhibits to performances, food, and even games, it's the best time to find the perfect trinket or treasure for someone. People from all over Andras and Valiore come to explore the market, open every night during the winter!

Draw or write about your woolyne or faelidh participating in one of the winter market activities! What do they choose to participate in? Are they hosting or watching any performances? Playing any market games? Or even visiting exhibits or contributing to galleries?

In the center square of Aldlight's annual Winter Market there is a lyss-made ice skating rink! Skaters young and old are having a grand time showing off (or trying not to fall!) for their friends!
