Valiore is surrounded by a Veil that separates the Faelidh world from other worlds that they visit. Travelers are able to cross the oceans and through the Veil to visit other worlds to place their craft that their Artisan partners have created.

The land is vast enough that there are still many places to explore and discover! Any travel-loving Faelidh can roam to their hearts content and still find unknown places and secrets that have yet to be seen.

Lumina Fields

Picture

A burst of color, Lumina Fields is host to thousands of different kinds of flowers, all ranging in size and hue. It is not uncommon for the flowers of one location to be smaller than Faelidh, while others in a different area tower over them. It is under the petals and leaves that an expansive market does its business, selling multiple dyes, cloths, and other trinkets.

Lumina Fields also serves another purpose-every Faelidh calls Lumina Fields their birthplace, as all Faelidh are born from a bloom planted in the Field. Hopeful Fae parents must travel from their caravan with the child's seedling and tend to the plant until it blooms, revealing the young Faelidh inside.

It is near here that the Spring Caravan makes their home.

Summerhaven

Picture

A wide expanse of grass and flowers, this location is known for its warm and sometimes fickle weather. Thunderstorms appear in this region frequently, soaking the ground and refilling the small brooks running through the gentle hills. Rainstorms, while frequent, pass quickly and give way to sunny skies and oftentimes rainbows. At night the air is cool and sky is rarely blocked by clouds. It is bordered on both sides by mountain ranges. To the north lie the forests of Autumnturn, Starryreach, and The Spires.

It is here that the Summer Caravan makes their home.

Autumnturn

Almost perpetually in a bloom of color, this forest is filled with small creeks and mossy stones. It's trees are dense and old, sometimes so close together that they block out the sun and create great patches of shade. The climate here is mostly chilly, ranging from late summer to winter seasonally as occasionally the snow from the north makes its way south. Many different kinds of mushrooms and moss cushion the soil, and it is not uncommon to find multiple cliffs and boulders in the area. To the south is a small mountain range and to the west are rocky beaches bordering the sea.

Winterpost

A harsh, if beautiful, location. Any Faelidh who lives in this region is tough. The summers are cool, the winters are freezing, and there are few trees. Resources are hard to get and oftentimes have to be traded for. Faelidh living here must know how to put their every skill to good use as the environment can be unforgiving. However this location is renowned for its sparkling glaciers, mountains, and auroras. In the summers the daytime is longer in this region than any other while in the winters night dominates.

Starryreach

A region interspersed with pines and towering cliffs, the Starryreach is at the northern part of the continent. It rarely is cloudy, making this place famous for its stunning skies and stars. Due to its northern location it often has auroras during the night. The quiet waters tend to reflect the skies back to the heavens giving an effect of an sky with no end. The forest is thinner here and there is not much coverage-grass and shrubbery is thinner and tougher. It is often chilly even in summer-although its winters are mostly dry. Small islands are scattered off the coasts; younger Faelidh make a habit of exploring them.

It is here that the Star Caravan makes their home.

The Labyrinth

The Labyrinth is aptly named-a mass of twisting networks and canyons; it's easy for any Fae unfamiliar with the area to get lost. Not only that, but beasts and monsters also make their home here among the stones, making this a location not for the faint of heart. The terrain is dry and warm with great rainfalls only happening in the winter. The stones are pocketed with caves and caverns to explore, and deep teal rivers flow at the bottom of the crevices. However it is not as harsh as the Shifting Desert to the north; many different plants exist here and food and materials are readily found if a Faelidh knows how to look.

It is here that the Highland Caravan makes their home.

The Shifting Desert

Filled with the ruins of buildings and monsters, the Shifting Desert is a harsh place to live. Its dunes constantly change with the wind, just as soon exposing old forgotten mysteries as they cover up others. Only Faelidh who are well prepared can survive in this desert, as they also have to face potential Rogue Faelidh who have made their home here as well. The Shifting Desert attracts many treasure-seekers with the riches that its sands hold, but traveling the sands holds many risks for those who brave the dunes

The Spires

Picture

The Spires form the tallest mountain range in the realm. These mountains form multiple valleys with expansive pine forests and plummeting waterfalls from the sheer mountainsides. Creatures thrive here as food and greenery is plentiful, although winters can be cold and deep with snow. The tops of The Spires often poke above the clouds and are high enough that they are always covered in snow and ice, eventually making way to grassy meadows and pines below.

Smaller caravans can be found here as food and water can be easily found without the support of a large caravan has to offer. Numerous young Travelers enjoy the thrill of making daring jumps from the tall ridges of the area.

The Crossroads

Picture

A stretch of flat and grassy land in-between two bodies of water, connecting the upper and lower half of the continent together. Interspersed with small trees and flowers, the climate is mild and pleasant in both summer and winter. The water is often as flat and reflective as a mirror, creating a double image of the nearby mountain range and the sky. It is famed particularly for its beauty at night, when the water reflects the stars above and glowing insects rise from the grass. Many resources can be found in this area and it's a popular place to forage.

The Wastes

Picture

Not much is known about The Wastes-Faelidh tend to avoid this location for good reason. Rumors say that once entered, Faelidh never return. Its trees are thick and its water murky, hiding secrets and mysteries. The sun weakly penetrates the tree cover and glowing lights float over the ground. Older Faelidh often spin tales of the monsters that must be lurking in the depths of The Wastes. Tales of eyes that are always watching, but never seen.
