This group serves as the hub for all things Woolyne, including the community, roleplaying and art!!
Anyone is allowed to join the group, even if you aren't an owner of a Woolyne. For non owners, you can join prompts with Community Woolyne.

If you do own a Woolyne, you are not required to participate in any of the community/roleplaying events-they are entirely optional! If you are interested in participating, you are required to complete a registration sheet of your Woolyne beforehand! However all Woolyne owners-participating and non participating, must follow the Woolyne Rules.

Harassment of any kind and other social misconduct in the group are penalized according to the Ownership Rules, with two warnings and ultimately being added to the blacklist.

Trading Rules

Woolyne designs are able to be traded to different users! We don't allow co-ownership for registered Woolyne.

Woolyne designs may not be sold for more than the current owner bought them for. Woolyne designs may be traded for physical items or vouchers. Please contact the group for voucher estimates!

MYO Woolyne slots are non-tradable+cannot be sold. All MYO Woolyne slots must be designed first before being traded! Any user can design the Woolyne, but the original slot owner must submit the design+proof of slot ownership to the group for approval first before trading.
MYO Woolyne slots purchased with shards can be gifted to another user.

Submission Rules

Specific submission rules are stated in the gallery folders. As a summary, the folders are:

Featured- General Woolyne artwork that is not related to a prompt or an exploration piece. No rolls for rewards.
Adopts and Customs- Where the latest Woolyne adopts and customs made by Verli will be posted. Not for general use.
Worldbuilding- Submissions from mods only for development of the Woolyne world or plot.
Character Registration: Where to submit your Woolyne's registration sheet.
Training- Submissions related to any of the Training prompts found in the Training Grounds journal.
Prompts- Submissions related to the current month's prompt, found in the Group Prompts journal. Rolled for current prompt rewards.
Exploration- Woolyne artwork unrelated to any prompts that is a full detailed piece (see Exploration Journal for rules). Rolled for general rewards.
Events- Submissions related to the current World Event prompt from the World Event journal. These events are sporadic and tied to a larger plot.
Other and Aus- General Woolyne artwork that is not related to a prompt or an exploration piece, including artwork of Woolyne + other species or Woolyne artwork set outside of the Woolyne world.
Contests- Submissions from mods only for contest use.
Journals and YCH- Journal entries and YCH ads related to Woolynes.
Trackers- Where to submit your Woolyne tracker journal if you so wish.

Detailed information on the folders below:

Artwork:
Submissions to the Featured, Prompts, Training and Character Registration folders are automatically accepted.

Journals+YCH:

Only journals+YCH that are relevant to Woolyne(such as trading a Woolyne, seeking a Woolyne, looking to specifically draw Woolyne) are allowed into the group.
Re-submitting journals is not allowed, to prevent spamming the group. If we realize that you have taken your journal out of the group to re-submit it, we will not allow it back in unless something in the submission has changed.

YCHs:
Only YCHs that specifically include at least one Woolyne will be accepted into the group.
Finished YCHs go in the Featured folder, not the YCHs folder. Re-submitting YCHs is not allowed, to prevent spamming the group. If you take your submission out of the group to re-submit it, we will not allow it back in unless something in the submission has changed. Please do not resubmit a YCH if you open it again, just leave it in the group!

Prompts+Training

Prompts as they work in this group are art challenges that you complete with your Woolyne, to earn Shards and develop your Woolyne's character. Shards are the currency of the group, can be earned from prompts and quests, and can be used to purchase prizes for your Woolyne.

How to participate in prompts: Draw your Woolyne in a picture (or write about them), doing something directly related to the prompt or training theme!

You will only receive the rewards for a prompt if:
You have included one of your own Woolyne or a Community Woolyne;
You title your submission with the name of the prompt;
Your submssion, at it's core, is directly related to and revolves around the prompt's theme (see below);
Your drawing includes 75% of your Woolyne's body, is fully colored, has at least the suggestion of a background, and is fully completed by the deadline;
Woolyne included are a significant portion of the composition, and are easily identifiable;
You submit it to the group folder before the deadline.

Examples of prompt submissions that may be declined by a mod due to content: The only prompt correlation is stated in a sentence in the description, so the relation would otherwise be unclear; The image has no clear relation or there is no mention of the prompt's theme whatsoever; The contents of the submission drifts too far from the core theme of the prompt and is only vaguely connected; The contents of the submission revolves around one of the rewards that is otherwise unmentioned in the actual prompt; The submission fails to meet any of the above rules.

Rules:
You are allowed to enter each prompt as many times as you wish. This can be with your own Woolyne, more than one of your own Woolyne, or your Woolyne with other Woolyne that you do not own.

You are allowed but not required to include someone else's Woolyne in your drawing, and that inclusion would give you another Shard Bonus, adding up to three other Woolyne will earn this bonus. NPC Woolyne are not included in this limit.

If your drawing does not correctly follow the rules, it can still be added to featured folder but it will not be counted for Shards.

Written entries are allowed! There is a 500 word minimum and no maximum, and they must follow all of the applicable rules above.  If you are submitting a drawing for the prompt, a textual description is optional but preferred; if you write a contextual description of at least 250 words, you will earn one extra Shard for the prompt.

Pixel art entries are allowed, and must be at least 100x100 in size.

Platform or implied backgrounds are the minimum requirement for backgrounds. Drawing a full, detailed background for a prompt will earn you 10 Shards!

An implied background is any background in a 'platform' format (unless it has a significant amount of detail) or any background that is simple in nature, showing the minimal amount of details (ie two colors to denote land and sky, a few blades of grass, a cloud or two in the sky). A detailed background is anything that goes beyond that, ideally something that shows great effort was put in!
If you're unsure whether your background fits the detailed description, feel free to note the group!

Please make sure to link either to the registration sheet or masterlist entry of EACH woolyne included in a submission!

AI-Generated art is not permitted to be used to earn shards/enter prompts/enter events/etc.

Collaborative Entries

Prompts are also allowed to be entered with Collaborative Entries. This is currently only available for Prompts.
Collaborative entries currently allowed include roleplays between two or more participants, and collaborative drawings created by two artists. A collaborative entry can only be posted into the group once by one of the participants involved.
All normal prompt rules apply to collaborative entries, with a few extra rules:

You will only receive the rewards for a roleplay entry to a prompt if:
The uploaded piece clearly states that it is a collaborative roleplay entry in the title or description;
The collaborative process is clearly explained in the description, and delineates which artist worked on each task;
The uploaded piece clearly indicates what was written by whom (either in a script-like format delineating the speaking character, or in paragraph form with clear indication of who wrote each paragraph);
Each participating member and the Woolyne they participated with are clearly mentioned in the description;
Each participating member wrote a total of at least 600 words.
To ensure that an equal amount of effort was put in by each participating artist in collaborative drawing entries, we must limit the types of collaborations that we will allow to two main collaborative processes-

1. Each artist sketches, lines, and colors their own Woolyne. Shading and background work can be a collaborative effort.
2. One artist sketches the piece, the other artist lines it, the first colors it, the second shades it, and the background can be a collaborative effort. (Tasks can be swapped, as long as each artist takes on at least two of the main tasks-splitting the work 50/50 is the idea!)

Collaborative entries are not eligible for claiming extra Shards for the other added guest Woolyne, or contextual descriptions.
The bonuses for included, additional woolynes, NPCs, Mounts, and Detailed backgrounds are still eligible.
     - To clarify; if two members collaborate they won't get the bonus shards for the other collab member's woolyne, BUT if an ADDITIONAL woolyne is added the work WILL get the extra shards for that woolyne.
However, each acceptable collaborative entry will earn each participating member +2 Shards as well as the base reward for the prompt.
If collaborative entries do not follow the rules, they will be moved to the featured folder and you will receive a comment on how to change the entry for it to be eligible.
