Profile Wool-651: Finwë

A shy and sweet Woolyne who makes his home in the cliffside city of Odysse. Finwë is an introverted sort who mostly keeps to himself, preferring the company of his horde of animal companions to other Woolyne. This is due both to his disposition and the fact that he really only has one interest -- birds. While this isn't an unusual interest for the area, Finwë has no desire to adventure far beyond Odysse or become a Drakern racer, he simply wants to study birds and flight in general, and this has led to some criticism from the more worldly-minded residents. Nevertheless, Finwë continues his research, accompanied by his faithful Drakern and a whole flock of all manner of flying creatures. He has a huge heart and is very generous, with an obvious and totally expected love of animals.

Finwë has been bonded with an Air spirit since his birth, and this elemental connection manifests in the tips of his ears dissolving into wispy clouds. He reckons it must be this connection with the spirit that has fueled his interest in the sky. His most trusted friend is the Airursa who has been by his side all his life. One is never far from the other, and they have a very deep connection, able to understand each other without words. Merry is much more than a pet, as Finwë will proudly explain to anyone who will listen.

Though he has no taste for wandering far and wide beyond the borders of Odysse, Finwë does have a goal that he suspects may draw him out into the world: he wants to find a way to cast an Aeryie Spell on himself and obtain his own wings. His greatest wish is to soar above the earth and discover what lies above the clouds. How he intends to accomplish this, he isn't quite sure yet, but he's hopeful that his continued research will point him in the right direction. His menagerie of pets have been collected for research on wings and flight, but he cares for them greatly.
