Alorus had swiftly decided that... the ocean was not exactly his home. A lot of wool he knew felt more than happy deep sea diving for treasure, but he'd swiftly realized, after the one go about, that he was just not one of them, and that this was alright. Akiko still took to the ocean waves, her temporary transformation something she seriously took on like a fish in water. Her fins were delightful, and the way she surfaced and jumped seemed to voice the amount of fun she was having.

He on the other hand, was more than content enough to stroll down the beach line, his eyes scanning the sands in an attempt to find some washed up treasures. He knew there were some, as more than one wool had run around screaming about having found something or other, but he himself had yet to lay eyes on anything as of yet.

This was fine though, given that while searching for treasure on the tide was the main goal, he'd spent a good portion of the time also just... people watching. One particular wool caught his attention up ahead; she was in the water, yes, or ... well not quite. She was laying on the back of a Selpie, apparently lazying about with her fish tail in the water, her eyes closed, not a single worry visible upon her features.

Apparently, that wool had no interest in looking for treasures on the tide, or perhaps she would do so later, when the sun went down and no longer made the ambient so hot.

Corbin, his faithful Drakern passed by his side, and seemed more enthused with the whole arrangement than Alorus himself, but then again, it made sense that the large bird would be happy to search for some sort of sparkly trinket on the ground, or floating in with the tide.

He made note to ask someone back home to come with him next time, since while Corbin was fine company, there was only so much talking he could do with the large bird, given it could not respond.

When he was getting ready to turn in for the day, Corbin squawked and ran up ahead, using his snout to search in the ground. After a few moments, his sound lifted and in it, clearly a small sample or a treasure.

Alorus petted his mount and together they went back towards the town to get it appraised.
