It'd been a while since Weisheng had gone out on his own. He'd had his hands tied trying to adquire a mount so he could follow one of his friends and explore, not to mention reading all the necessary information to get himself acquaintance with training Inui. However, it was the season of the Gembound festival and though before he had not really done much to try to get himself invested in any of the celebrations, he figured he had at least two people he wanted to say thank you to, in some way or another.

As such, he had slipped away, hopefully unnoticed to try to find gems he felt would fit both Meiling and Xiao in some way or another. He wasn't sure entirely how to even start looking, and since he'd left alone so as to maintain the surprise, he wasn't sure what to do.

Confused, he'd actually done his best to ask around, and a sweet lady had stopped what she was doing, looked him up and down and seemed to take pity on him. She mentioned that all he had to do, was look for rocks and/or gems, and that after that... well, it would be up to the Faelidhs.

He had then ventured to a place he remembered being a particularly nice hot spot last year, one he hadn't ventured to before, and arming himself with the tools needed, he'd found himself in front of a cave. It was heartening to see wool come to and from the place, which meant he likely had the correct place and was not, in fact, extremely lost.

Managing to keep himself on track, he'd ventured forth and spent a good part of the morning observing rocks. Picking them up and putting them back down. His elemental had done a lovely job of keeping the space lit for him, and it jittered at him encouragingly as he finally found two pieces of rock and debris that he particularly liked. He didn't know much about rocks, to be honest, but what little information he'd gathered before attempting this explained the type of rocks most likely to be geodes.

With the rocks in place, in his satchel, he'd set out to a nearby temple, where he'd been instructed to leave the rocks. He'd done so, and been told that a few days later, it was likely the artisans would have managed to do something nice with his rocks. He would thus, have to wait for the results patiently.
