It's probably better not to ask the lengths Valkha went through to get their shiny rock for carving, and probably equally a good idea to not think too hard about what they'd do if they did somehow successfully court the vast mycellium network of foragable mushrooms....
Asking who gave them something caffinated though, that's a reasonable question, because it definitely wasn't poor Sigurd.
